The Loudoun School of Ballet has trained over 10,000 dance students, providing a tradition of excellence in dance instruction since 1977. Dancers from our studio have gone on to perform in both professional ballet and contemporary dance companies and on Broadway. Many of our students study dance in college and have founded their own schools and companies, teaching and choreographing professionally.
Classes begin with a preschool program and run through ten levels of classical ballet and jazz. We also provide an adult program open to dancers of all abilities. The school offers classes in classical ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, lyrical, Pilates, tap, and hip-hop, with programs available for the recreational dancer as well as those training for professional careers. Guest artists and master teachers are brought in to work with our advanced students in order to enhance their artistic growth and technical training.
The faculty at The Loudoun School of Ballet consists of accredited, award-winning instructors who have dedicated themselves to helping dancers achieve their goals. The school is home to the pre-professional JAZZ&CO DANCE, the Loudoun Ballet Company, and new this year, a tap company under the direction of veteran Rockette, Jereme Goshorn.
The school's 6000 square foot facility was custom-designed and constructed with three studios, full color monitors, and the latest security, health, and safety features.
The Loudoun School of Ballet is open throughout the summer, offering a full range of classes that include intensive technical study, performance camps, and workshops for students of all levels. We are dedicated to fostering excellence in dance in a nurturing and caring atmosphere. From children to adult and from novice to professional, the school has programs to suit every student.
